Self Defense

Mark Simons of EmPower Wellness conducts our Self Defense Interactive Work-Shops. He has 30 years law enforcement experience with 20 years working in training division while assigned to the street. Mark was certified in Defensive and Arrest tactics, teaching officers how and when to use force. This included punches, kicks, blocks, and take down holds. He helped develop the scenario based training that is now widely endorsed by the State of Wisconsin Training and Standards

In this work shop you will learn:

•How to fall forward, backwards

•How to get up safely

Cardiovascular Training

Knowing how to exercise correctly when doing cardio can save you time and maximize your results. Our Cardio workshops teach you how to calculate your personal training zones and the importance of circuit training.

Boxing

World Champion boxing coach Kerry Phar will conduct our interactive cardio boxing classes.  Kerry has trained and managed WBC Continental of America’s Champion Darryl “Fast Fists” Fuller, WBF Inter-Continental Heavyweight Champion Keith McKnight, WBF Light Heavyweight World Champion Ken “The Bull” Atkin, Four time National Heavyweight Champion Adam Richards and numerous others.

Motivation

One of the biggest challenges we face when exercising is staying motivated. Motivational Speaker Kirk Tinsley will share with you his amazing story of success personally, financially, and spiritually.

Fitness Assessment

Knowing your fitness level and tracking your progress is one key in a successful fitness plan. This workshop will educate you on the importance of a fitness assessment as well as help you determine your personal fitness level. Each participant will receive a free body composition after the workshop.
